Mark ReynoldsLAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- The Orioles' pursuit of an impact power bat in the form of Diamondbacks third baseman Mark Reynolds is complete.

The Orioles will also get a player to be named or cash, while Arizona receives relievers David Hernandez and Kam Mickolio in the deal, which was announced Monday afternoon at the Winter Meetings.

Reynolds, who hit just .198 in 2010, was still able to rack up impressive power numbers, belting 32 home runs. He has hit 104 homers over the last three seasons, but contact has been a major issue for the slugger. He has a .234 average and 638 strikeouts over that same span.

He is not overly excited to be moving to the Orioles, preferring to be part of a rebuilding effort with the D'backs, sources told FanHouse's Phillips.
