The San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants will face off at 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon, with the NL West title and NL wild card on the line, and two vastly different scenarios in play depending on the result.

The Braves beat the Phillies 8-7, guaranteeing themselves at least a one-game playoff for the NL wild card no matter what happens between San Diego and San Francisco.
