As Meetings End, Hot Stove Still Scalding

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- As the Rule 5 draft ended on Thursday, hundreds of baseball executives raced each other out the door to head to the aiport and leave behind a surprisingly active Winter Meetings at the Swan and Dolphin Resort on the grounds of Walt Disney World.

While some GMs were celebrating (see Epstein, Theo) and others were left empty handed (see Reagins, Tony), they all left with the knowledge that while the Winter Meetings might be over, the winter itself remains hot.

Although a few big names found new homes, there are plenty of others left out on the market, dominoes waiting to fall.

In order of importance, not necessarily in the order we expect them to go, here goes ...
