If you've got a shortstop you're willing to trade, give the Baltimore Orioles a call.

Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports that the team has been testing the waters on trades for a new starting shortstop. Jason Bartlett of Tampa Bay and J.J. Hardy of Minnesota are the names on the top of the list, each of whom would be a clear offensive upgrade over last year's main man Cesar Izturis.

David Hernandez appears to be the man in the middle of the trade talks on the Orioles end of things. Hernandez pitched 41 games for them last year as both a starter and reliever, but showed much more prowess out of the pen. He had a 3.16 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 37 innings out of the bullpen, raising the possibility that he could be a closer for Baltimore down the road.
